Project Description:
The Anant National University was in the process of setting up a Maker’s space, in a about 1000 Sqm Area.
Tasks:
Researching other maker’s spaces, identifying required workshops based on offered disciplines and curriculum in university, creating a design layout, generating equipment list, contacting vendors, creating a procurement phasing plan.
The Maker Space was being designed in the existing university building structure. Below is the layout developed based on consultation with in-house faculty and management within the university.
